Tariff for Kitchen Cabinets

As of now, there are no direct anti-dumping (AD) or countervailing duties (CVD) imposed by the U.S. on kitchen cabinets exported from Turkey.

Tariff for Quartz Products

Quartz surfaces for countertops exported from Turkey, are subject to AD and CVD measures:

In 2020, the U.S. Department of Commerce imposed:

  • 5.13% anti-dumping duty
  • 2.43% countervailing duty

An additional 15% reciprocal tariff was recently issued, which is the lowest among others in the industry.



🇨🇳 China: AD/CVD Orders Continued (2025)

  • January 24, 2025: Following a sunset review, the U.S. Department of Commerce and USITC determined that revoking the existing AD/CVD orders on quartz surface products from China would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping, subsidies, and material injury to the U.S. industry.   • Original Orders: Imposed in July 2019, with AD/CVD rates ranging from 45.32% to 190.99%. Global Trade Alert

🏛️ Legal Challenges Resolved (2023)

  • May 2023: MS International (MSI), a major U.S. importer, abandoned its legal challenges against the AD/CVD orders on quartz surface products from China, India, and Turkey. This followed a January 2023 ruling by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, which upheld the U.S. Department of Commerce’s determination that fabricators are not “producers” for the purposes of these investigations. Update on US – India tariffs development

February 7, 2026

On Friday, February 6, 2026, President Trump issued an Executive Order to remove the additional 25% tariff linked to India’s imports of Russian oil, which had been part of a total 50% duty on Indian goods the removal is effective for goods entered and cleared by Customs after February 7, 2026.  

At the same time, on Friday, February 6, 2026, the White House issued a briefing on a US‑India Joint Statement announcing that they have reached a framework for an interim agreement regarding reciprocal and mutually beneficial trade. Part of the agreement is that the United States will lower the reciprocal tariff on Indian goods to 18%, down from 25%, and will remove the reciprocal tariff on a wide range of goods identified elsewhere.
