Assembly
This is where is all comes together. At the beginning in the process, a kitchen is considered as its own independent entity. The hundreds of parts and pieces that go into making a kitchen unite here in Sadewood’s assembly department.
Precision Manufacturing
Doors are drilled for hinges, drawer boxes and cabinet boxes assembled and doors hung. Final adjustments and quality inspection ensure that only the highest level of quality gets approved in our factory.
Cabinet Manufacturing Methots
Cabinets are not one size fits all products. Cabinets are manufactured different ways that impact production time, cost, quality and the overall look of the kitchen.
There are three main manufacturing categories according to production processes.
*Furniture Custom Cabinets
*Modular Cabinets
*Stock Cabinets
Cabinets are made by two different designs: Framed and full access cabinets.

A passion for designing kitchens
Our comprehensive suite of professional services caters to a diverse clientele, ranging from homeowners to commercial developers.

Side Panels
Side panels have ½” to ¾” thickness and are made from plywood. Plywood is the most resistant cabinet substrate material against moisture and has the best screw-holding strenght.
Cabinet side panels should be finished with genuine wood veneer that matches used on the doors, face frames and drawers.
¾” MDF is also good choice for side panels
Avoid ⅜” thick side panels, especially those made from melamine or laminate-coated chip board, which may easily swell and delaminate under regular household moisture conditions. Chipboard also lacks the tensile strength to help keep your cabinets perfectly square over the long haul.

Interiors
There isn’t necessarily a single best choice for interior cabinet surfaces but natural wood veneer is often preferred due to its warmth, beauty, and durability. Wood veneer used on cabinet interiors should be finished with a washable conversion varnish topcoat that allows for easy cleaning with a damp cloth.
Stain-resistant melamine is a lower-maintenance interior surface that helps prevent the spread of bacteria. It can be made to look nearly identical to natural wood or can complement modern styles in light-reflective white or gray colors.
Either material is a fine choice for the inside of your new kitchen cabinets.

Shelves
Look for shelves made from ¾” thick plywood or MDF, which can accept heavy loads, such as canned goods and dinnerware, without warping or sagging. ½” and ⅝” thick shelves are less likely to maintain their dimensional stability, especially when they are made from particleboard.
The high levels of humidity we experience on Sadewood all but ensure moisture in the air will cause chipboard shelves to warp over time. Once chipboard loses its original shape, there is no getting it back and replacement shelves will need to be purchased.

Cabinet Door Hinges
Hinges should have feature six-way adjustability — in and out, side-to-side, up and down — for the best door alignment.

Base Cabinet Roll-Out Trays
Roll-out trays allow you to take out something you have stored in the back easily.
They also allow for a full-depth top shelf in the base cabinet, which increase your usable storage space about 50%.
This feature is an optional upgrade for our cabinets.
We stand behind our products. Because all of the materials we use for our cabinets are thoughtfully chosen

Drawers
The best drawers have four plywood or MDF sides, as opposed to three sides made from plywood or MDF with a drawer head holding them together in the front. The thickness of a high-quality plywood drawer side ranges from ⅝” to ¾” thick. A plywood or MDF bottom is fitted into grooves on all sides.

Drawer Glide Systems
There are a few key features for drawer glide systems (also known as drawer runners) – Fully Concealed, Undermount, Soft-close, and Full-extension.
Glides are mounted underneath the drawer box (undermounted), as opposed to on the sides. Not only are unsightly parts hidden from view this way (fully concealed), but also, you will get more storage space inside the drawer since undermount glides don’t use extra space on each side like their side-mounted counterparts.
Some drawer runners also called full-extension which means the drawers extend all the way out to the face of the cabinet. I allows you to easily see and reach items stored in back of the drawer. Full-extension systems allow for longer drawer box (21”), which offers 14% more storage than conventional drawers(18”), as well as 20% more drawer access. Integrated soft-closing buffers stop the drawer when 2 inches from the cabinet face and pull it closed very silently, eliminating abuse to both cabinet doors and fronts.
