Cabinet Door Materials
Solid Wood Cabinet Doors

We have 20 different species and grades of lumber in our standard door material offering. Our solid hardwood doors and drawer fronts are built durable and strong to withstand a lifetime of use.

Wood Veneer
Veneered cabinet doors are an affordable alternative to solid wood doors.
Thin layers of wood veneer are glued together with the grain at horizontal or vertical grain directions over a core of MDF, which reduces splitting and cracking.
We use popular species like cherry and apple as veneer.

Thermofoil
Thermofoil cabinet doors are made from a single piece of MDF, covered with a flexible, vinyl-like material using heat, vacuum and pressure.
The stability of MDF makes components highly resistant to warping. Thermofoil is durable, no need maintenance. It can mimic the look of painted wood or have glossy finishes or classic patterns.

Melamine
Melamine is a pressure and heat-fused laminate surface. It is applied over a single-piece of MDF to provide stablity, easy-to-clean, moisture-resistant surface that will not allow the growth of bacteria.
It is typically for use in modern and contemporary designs and available in both solid colors and textured patterns.

High Gloss
High Gloss cabinet doors are made by laminating a sheet of Acrylic over a core of MDF. The Synchronicity High Gloss program makes three levels of high gloss coatings: from PET film to our UV Lacquer to the innovative glass-like material.
This process results in a deep, high-gloss luster perfect for modern and contemporary designs. High Gloss components are scratch-resistant, easily cleaned with a microfiber cloth, and their MDF core makes them highly resistant to warping.
Cabinet Door Styles
Recessed Panel Doors
Recessed door styles are constructed using a frame fitted with a center panel that has no contoured or raised profile. The sleek, clean look of panel doors allow to blend well into many design, including classic, modern, contemporary, traditional, craftsman

Raised Panel Doors
Raised panel doors are similarly made from a four-piece frame, but their center panel is higher in the center than it is on the edges, adding character and dimension.

Slab Doors
Slab doors have no recessed or raised profile. Solid Wood slabs give the appearance of a single piece of wood, but are actually made of several pieces joined together, making them resistant to cupping and warping.
Slab doors can be made from MDF and laminated with melamine, thermofoil, or High Gloss. It is usually good for modern and contemporary designs.

Accent Doors
